Islam has an Attitude of Arrogance and Intolerance
Courtesy of the Jerusalem Post
The Taliban Islamic rulers of Afghanistan last week destroyed two monumental Buddhas carved out of limestone. The two Buddhas of Bamiyan had stood along the great Silk Road to China for at least 1,500 years, since before the birth of Islam.
The world is understandably horrified. Though most likely few of those protesting the destruction last week had ever heard of the Buddhas of Bamiyan, much less seen them, knowledge that they are no more is depressing.
One thinks of all the travelers along the historic route between Europe and Asia who passed the giant Buddhas over the centuries and the awe they must have felt at the sheer amount of human labor that went into their construction.
That awe will be felt no more.
The Taliban's minister of information and culture best summarized the lesson of last week's vicious wrecking: "It's easier to destroy than to build."
Meanwhile the Western world has been far less concerned about the threat to ancient artifacts much more central to its own cultural patrimony. Since 1999, massive construction work has been carried out on the Temple Mount by the Moslem Wakf. That work has employed heavy trucks and earthmoving equipment. Much of it has been unauthorized by the Israeli government and unsupervised by the Israel Antiquities Authority as required of the Antiquities Law. ............
The lack of interest of the international press, however, is, in this case, forgivable. With the notable exception of Nadav Shragai in Ha'aretz, and The Jerusalem Post, the Israeli media has not paid much attention to the story either. Apart from the efforts of the Committee for the Prevention of the Desecration of the Temple Mount and professional archeologists, there has been little public outcry. ...........
Over 6,000 tons of dirt was removed from the site without archeologists being given any opportunity to sift through it. Among the items dumped into the Kidron Valley was a meter-long stone fragment. According to one archeologist, that fragment was "the most important artifact ever recovered from the Temple Mount, and could very well have been from one of the entrances to the Temple itself."
This past January, Shragai reported of the digging of a long underground tunnel from al-Aksa Mosque, which is above the Hulda Gate to the Second Temple, eastward towards Solomon Stables. Danny Zaken, an Israel Radio journalist, testified that he saw the tunnel, including a grille in the floor through which an ancient floor was visible.
Another 1,500 tons of material was reported to have been removed from the Temple Mount in connection with this project, once again without any kind of archeological supervision. ..........
In the midst of negotiating sovereignty of the Temple Mount, he feared doing anything that would call attention to the fact that the Wakf cannot be trusted with the preservation of Jewish holy sites.
Even as Hebrew University archeologist Eilat Mazar warned of Wakf intentions to destroy all evidence of a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, and the mufti of Jerusalem proclaimed that the Temple Mount contains no remnants of Jewish history, Barak hesitated to prevent the Wakf from turning the entire plaza into a series of mosques.
The Wakf and the Taliban share a contempt for what they view as competing cultures to Islam, though the former are a good deal more public-relations savvy. Yet there is another lesson from the Taliban that may be of great significance to Israel's citizens. Jeff Jacoby pointed out in the Boston Globe last week that not only were the Taliban immune to the entreaties of the UN and world governments, they relished the horror their smashing excited. They sought to mock the non-Islamic world and its values.
There are reasons why God prophesied the end of Islam in the Bible. Arrogance against the Jew which leads to intolerance is a repeated theme in Biblical history. God dealt with the arrogance of Pharaoh when he became intolerant of the Jews, and he paid the price. Islam seems to be in a blind rage as they travel the same road to destruction. They willingly close their eyes to the past.

BRIEF: Rocks & Bottles Stockpiled on Temple Mount… | During a routine patrol on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday morning (27th), police discovered barrels containing stones and empty bottles being stockpiled for use in attacks following Friday’s afternoon Islamic prayer service. (Arutz-7, 4/27) |
Hamas Promises Six More Suicide Bombings | Thousands of Hamas supporters held a rally on
Friday (27th) in the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.
A speaker on behalf of Hamas’ Izzadin Kassam military arm noted that his
organization had so far carried out four suicide bombings of the 10 it had
promised to carry out, and therefore more are to be expected.
Demonstrators called for the elimination of Israel and the establishment of a Moslem Palestinian state from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River. |
38 PERCENT OF WORLD'S JEWS IN ISRAEL
According to the Hebrew University Institute for Contemporary Jewry, Israel's 5.2 million Jews comprise 38 percent of the world's Jewish population. The Central Bureau of Statistics released annual population figures on Tuesday which showed that Israel has 6.2 million residents, eight times more than it had when the State was established in May 1948.
Last year the population grew by 152,000. Every day 360 new babies were born and 150 new immigrants arrived. Since the establishment of the State, 4.5 million babies have been born in Israel and 2.9 million immigrants have been absorbed. Native born Israelis comprise 64 percent of Israel's Jewish population. Israel's Arab population has increased dramatically since 1948 and numbers 1.2 million.
What percent is necessary for God to recognize Israel is back? When I was born in 1943 there were almost no Jews in the Eritz (Holy Land). 10 %, 50 %, or 38 % - whatever, it is all a miracle. When Ezra left Babylon/Persia with the captivity it was not 100% who left with him. Most stayed behind content with the new life they found in foreign lands. It maybe even less then 38 % left with Ezra. We do know it was about 30,000 - 40,000 who settled the Eritz in that first return. Whatever the % of total Jews in the world, God recognized them as Israel! Today the Islamic world must also recognize Israel is back! It matters not what the % of total Jewry are there. What matters is they are back, and back to stay. It is futile to fight against what God has done!

SADDAM THROWS BIRTHDAY BASH FOR SELF
Iraqis celebrated the 64th birthday of dictator Saddam Hussein on
Saturday, in a nationwide holiday marked by parades, lavish festivals and
anti-Israel protests. .............
In power since 1979, Saddam
continues to maintain a solid grip on Iraq despite embroiling the country in two
major wars - the 1980-88 war with Iran and the 1991 Gulf War. During his reign,
Saddam has made determined efforts to develop chemical, biological and nuclear
weapons. Western spy agencies have concluded that Saddam is within three years
of completing a homegrown nuclear bomb, but Israel believes that Iraq is quietly
smuggling enriched uranium or plutonium in order to speed up the process. A
long-time Washington expert on Iraq, Laurie Mylroie, noted recently, "All Saddam
lacks for a bomb is the fissile material. When Saddam goes down, he's going to
take Israel with him."
Meanwhile, THE NEW YORK TIMES is reporting that a secret Iraqi
report recently released by the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control
reveals that as early as 1987, Baghdad tested a "dirty nuke" - a radiation
weapon that uses high explosives to scatter highly radioactive materials with
the purpose of poisoning targets and causing slow death. The test did
not
produce as damage to humans as desired, so Iraq reportedly abandoned the
project.

PALESTINIANS BLAME ISRAEL FOR THEIR OWN BOMB
MISHAPS
Israeli security forces are back on high alert after
receiving "hot tips" of planned Palestinian terror attacks in retaliation for a
pair of mysterious blasts in Ramallah and Gaza on Monday night that killed two
youngsters and a top Fatah activist, among others. But while Palestinians blamed
Israel and vowed revenge, all signs pointed to yet more "work accidents" by the
purveyors of terror.
Saddam plans, the
Palestinians plan, all Islam plans, but God controls! God has His own plan that
negates all other plans. God's plan is to build Ezekiel's Temple (Ezekiel 40
-48) on the Temple Mount. It is all part of His master plan to keep the world's
focus on the Biblical Christ. Christianity has so compromised with the world and
false doctrine that the Biblical Christ is hard to find. God is about to clean
the slate. A new dispensation centered around Ezekiel's Temple and lawful blood
sacrifice is about to dawn. Haggai spoke to the issue of building the Second
Temple at the first return of Israel in the days of Ezra/Nehemiah, and now a
new, contemporary look at Haggai is needed to understand this second return of
Israel.
Read "Haggai" as I take that contemporary look at this old prophet. It is a work in progress!
Hag 1:14
14 And the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the LORD of hosts, their God,
KJVHag 2:7-9
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.
8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.
KJV
"This
place" is none other then the Third Jewish Temple which is about to
be built from where Christ will rule with a rod of iron for 1000 years. Where
righteousness will rule, and the world will finally find peace! The righteous
peace of Christ in all it's puritanical holiness!

King Abdullah of Jordan meets evangelical leaders During a
visit to the USA in April 2001, King Abdullah of Jordan, asked
evangelical
leaders to take steps to promote peace in the Middle East. In a meeting with
around 80 Christian leaders in Washington D.C., he told them "Arabs must hear
your voice", and called them "men and women of peace". The leaders included
pastor David Yonggi Cho, TBN's Paul Crouch Jr., pastor John Hagee, Marilyn
Hickey and Billy Joe Daugherty. The meeting was organized by evangelist Benny
Hinn, who said that evangelical Christians should "put one arm around the Jews
in Israel, and the other around the Arabs, who are also God's creation." When
asked by Paul Crouch whether Jordan would allow TBN to broadcast in the nation,
King Abdullah replied that it could well be possible as a result of the
privatization currently taking place.- Source: Benny Hinn
Well, here they are! Benny Hinn who recently told Paul Crouch that God told him dead bodies propped up in front of the TV set when TBN is on will come back to life, and of course Paul Crouch believed God really said that! These are the false prophets with their cronies setting up their part of the Great Apostate Church that will go into the coming 7 year Tribulation. These are the usurpers claiming they speak for God! Their arrogance is so great that they put themselves into the life giving business usurping Christ Himself.
God says He will destroy Islam in Ezekiel 38 & 39, but Benny Hinn and Paul Crouch say don't worry! TBN will soon be broadcasting in Jordan, and you can just prop the dead in front of the TV.

Can Healings and Other Miracles Be Lost After They Are Received?
It is possible to lose a healing. I remember I prayed for one girl who had terrible vision. She was virtually blind. After prayer, her sight improved dramatically. But as she looked around, she thought, I can see, but I am not supposed to see! Her healing went away. There was no way we could get it back. It just left.
From Pat Robertson of 700 Club fame. He also teaches you can lose your salvation. I would pose the question back to him: "How can you lose what you never had in the first place?"
This is the mean god that I see so often. It is the made-up god of professional religionists. I have seen this god make little old ladies crawl up rough stone stairs on bloody knees to reach some icon. I have seen this god cause men to be nailed to crosses in mock crucifixions. The professionals encourage this behavior, and cause adoration to be given to this god. I have seen him often. There is a great difference between the righteous wrath of the Biblical God, and this kind of tormenting mean god as conceived by Pat Robertson and other religionists. It is this god that will go into the 7 year Tribulation. It is this god who is the god of Apostate Christianity. The god who will take back a healing, a miracle, or worst of all take back salvation by grace is a mean and worthless god by any standard.
John 10:27-29
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

HAMAS SAYS ARAFAT IRRELEVANT
PLO
chief Yasser Arafat's recent call to end mortar attacks on Israeli targets in
and around Gaza is being ignored on the ground, a senior Hamas figure said
Wednesday, adding that "Arafat is out of the picture."
This hate against Israel is an irreversible heart condition. It matters not what circumstances may be, or who says what. The Palestinians and Islam are beyond change. Kill Jews is in the heart. Give god the glory for every dead Jew is what they believe (Allah Akbar). It is the only message they want to hear. Were God to speak, they would not listen unless the message was "Kill Jews!" Well, God has spoken, and Islam closes it's ears!
Deut 32:9-12

In Damascus, Pope urges Middle East
peace
President Assad compares Palestinians' suffering to the persecution of
Jesus
Reuters
DAMASCUS - Pope John Paul II began his historic pilgrimage to
Muslim Syria yesterday with a plea to Israel and its Arab neighbors to turn
"fear into trust" to end decades of war in the Middle East. ..........
Later, the frail 80-year-old Pontiff sat among scores of
government ministers and turbaned Muslim clerics as Syrian President Bashar
Assad called on him to stand by the Arabs in their struggle to regain their land
and their rights from Israel.
"We feel that in your prayers, in which you
recall the suffering of Jesus Christ, you will remember that there is a people
in Lebanon, the Golan [Heights] and Palestine that is suffering from subjugation
and persecution," Assad, a Muslim, said. "We expect you to stand by them against
the oppressors so that they could regain what was unjustly taken from
them."
Assad said the suffering of Arabs under Israeli occupation was
similar to the biblical suffering of Jesus Christ at the hands of first century
Jews.
He said Israel was killing Palestinians, violating justice,
occupying Arab land and attacking Muslim and Christian religious sites. He also
suggested the Jewish people had unjustly benefitted from exaggerating their past
sufferings.
The Pope has good reason to side with Islam. He often tries to appear neutral, but that is the political tact he follows with all conflicts. What does the Pope really think? He has a real problem with Israel. The Catholic Church long ago claimed all the future blessings the Bible promised Israel for themselves. It was easy to do over the ages with Israel in dispersion, and persecuted in almost every country. Now, it has all changed! Israel is back in the promised land. A force to be reckoned with. The blessings are obvious in this miraculous return. The blessings are obvious in their survival among hostel neighbors who so openly show their hate. The Lord Jesus Christ promised future blessings to the Jew which the Pope is finding more and more difficult to usurp. Israel is forcing the theology formed out of Roman Catholic tradition to falter in the face of the Biblical promises. The Pope would be relieved if Israel just disappeared from the Holy Land. That is not going to happen!
Matt 19:28

Rom 11:25-26
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

More inexplicable bombs go off prematurely
A top Hamas operative and three Fatah men were seriously hurt last
night by an explosion in Qabatiya, near Jenin. The Hamas member, Nassar Jerar,
was badly hurt, and lost an arm and a leg; the others suffered burns, and other
injuries. Qabatiya residents charged that IDF artillery fire caused the
explosion; but some Palestinian sources said that an explosive being carried by
the men themselves might have unexpectedly gone off. Israeli security forces had
been hunting Jerar for some time; a few months ago, an IDF force failed to
arrest the Hamas suspect in Jenin.
Were I of the heart-set to kill Jews, I think I would look into the use of powder puffs and pillows. I do not believe these are stupid or incompetent men who keep blowing up. I think God has something to do with all these premature explosions. These terrorists are clearly getting frustrated as they try to understand and explain what is happening? It is very difficult to make frivolously claims of "god is great" with these kinds of repeated incidents taking place. I've yet to see the news folks put two and two together with the unprecedented reoccurrences of these explosions. Then, they couldn't put two and two together after the Gulf war either. They could not put two and two together when Israel declared and accomplished statehood in the middle of the Islamic world, or the Six Day War, etc. etc.
1 Sam 4:7-8
7 And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore.
8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

Is it not ironic that the Palestinians falsely claim Philistine heritage. A heritage that has a terrible Biblical end.

Katsav calls on Vatican to respond to Assad's

President
Moshe Katsav yesterday called on Pope John Paul II, now visiting Syria, to

and are oppressing the Palestinians.
"The Vatican should indeed respond to the remarks, directly or
indirectly, openly or obliquely, in order to correct them" Katsav said.

FEEBLE POPE'S PRAYERS NO MATCH FOR SYRIAN
SPITE
Hoping to retrace the steps of St. Paul, who converted
to Christianity on the road to Damascus, the Pope began this first-ever papal
pilgrimage to Syria on Saturday with a warm welcome at the airport outside the
capital city. There, he made an emotional plea to Israel and its Arab neighbors
to turn "fear into trust and contempt to mutual esteem," to end decades
of
conflict.
But Assad called on the frail 80-year-old pontiff to join
the Arab struggle against Israel, equating the conditions of Arabs under Israeli
"occupation" to the sufferings of Jesus at the hands of first century
Jews.
"We feel that in your prayers in which you recall the suffering of
Jesus Christ, you will remember that there is a people in Lebanon, the Golan
[Heights], and Palestine that is suffering from subjugation and persecution,"
Assad asserted in his greetings to the Pope. "We expect you to stand by them
against the oppressors so that they could regain what was unjustly taken from
them."
Assad accused Israel of murdering and torturing Palestinians,
violating justice, occupying Arab land and attacking Muslim and Christian
religious sites. Israelis "try to kill the principles of all religions with the
same mentality in which they betrayed Jesus Christ and tortured him, and in the
same way they tried to betray and kill the Prophet Muhammad," Assad
charged.
He also suggested the Jewish people had unjustly benefited from
exaggerating their past sufferings. The comments follow Assad's repeated attacks
on Israeli society for being "more racist than Nazism" for electing the "killer"
Ariel Sharon as prime minister in February.
Assad concluded, "We say we adhere to a just and comprehensive
peace that returns the land to its original owners, and the return of refugees
and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its
capital."

CHRISTIAN EMBASSY REACTION TO PAPAL VISIT TO
SYRIA
The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem today
expressed "complete rejection" of the vicious anti-Semitic statements by Syrian
dictator Bashar Assad upon greeting Pope John Paul II in Damascus on Saturday,
while also noting disappointment at the Vatican's failure to timely rebut this
immoral attack on the Jewish people.
"It was clear from the start that
the Syrian Government was determined to exploit the Pope's visit for devious
political purposes," said Rev. Malcolm Hedding, Executive Director of the ICEJ.
"The Vatican has no excuse for failing to foresee this and then remaining silent
to Assad's pernicious charges against the Jews concerning the sufferings of
Jesus. This repeats
the Church's mistakes of the past and undermines efforts
for regional peace and for better understanding between Christians and Jews
everywhere."
Regarding the papal visit to Kuneitra today, Hedding stated
that if someone truly is interested in promoting peace between Israel and the
Arabs, this is the "last place" to deliver that message. "The setting negates
the message," said Hedding, "since the ruins of Kuneitra are primarily a
testimony to Syria's undying animosity towards Israel."
The International
Christian Embassy Jerusalem, founded in 1980, represents millions of Christians
from around the world who share a love and concern for Israel and the Jewish
people. The Christian Embassy is considered the world's largest Christian
Zionist organization, with branches and representatives in nearly 100 nations
worldwide.
The Pope may be feeble, but the power
behind him is massive. The Catholic Church is no friend of Israel. It will go
into the 7 year Tribulation virtually unscathed after the rapture of "born
again" Christians. It will continue in it's roll within the Great Apostate
Church which will be the religious tool of the false prophet and the
anti-Christ. This Pope is playing his roll in preparing the way for these things
to come. It is right to challenge this supposed man of peace who is stirring up
so much bitterness and hate. Peace is only Catholic peace to him. Later, peace
will be only the anti-Christ's peace.
Rev 17:1-9
17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
KJV
Rev 12:12-17
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.
14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
KJV
A tale of two woman. One is the great harlot called religion. A united monster which rides on the back of the anti-Christ. The other Woman is that which brought forth the man child. She is Israel. Jesus is the root of Jesse. A Jew in the kingly line of David. In these last days after the Two Witnesses of Revelation are murdered by the anti-Christ the faithful Jews who were part of building the Third Jewish Temple will flee Jerusalem for the wilderness. They have the testimony of Christ! The Catholic Church will also have their testimony of Christ as it has today. A false testimony of a false Christ whom the anti-Christ will find easy to usurp. He will just take popism one step further.

Arms boat made three visits to
Gaza

Hass
Ha'aretz Correspondents
The Lebanese boat captured this week carrying a load of
arms sent by Ahmed Jibril's Popular Front for the Liberation of
Palestine-General Command to Gaza was on its fourth such mission to the Strip in
recent weeks, Israeli sources - including Prime Minister Ariel Sharon - said
yesterday. ...........
According to another senior military source, the shoulder-launched Strella missiles found on board the Lebanese ship are new to the territories. The rocket launchers are the main weapon used by the Hezbollah.
2,900 incidents in West Bank
Since the
start of the violence on September 29, 2000, there were some 2,900 incidents of
violence in the West Bank, not counting the Jericho area, and 115 land mines
were detonated or discovered, said a senior military source in a briefing to
reporters yesterday.
Some 34 percent of the shooting incidents were
against civilians, and the rest against soldiers, in areas where the soldiers
and Palestinians are in constant friction, said the source.
Of the 2,900
incidents, 12 percent involved specific targets, with 8 percent hitting
buildings, and 4 percent hitting people. There were 770 shootings at cars on the
roads. The West Bank has some 1,275 kilometers of roads on which Israelis
travel, the source noted.
He said that there have been 24 incidents in
which Palestinians crossed the Green Line into Israel for terror attacks, mostly
for hiding bombs, with a few cases of suicide bombers and car
bombs.
According to the source, there is a growing number of incidents in
which settlements have been targeted by the Palestinians. Hundreds have been
arrested, as suspects in cells that have fired on Israelis since the conflict
began, he said
The conflict continues with no slow down. The press may have tired of it, but the truth is the hate against Jews grows daily. Islam wants to throw more then protest stones. They want to throw mortar shells and rockets. They want to stir up a Jihad that will eradicate Israel. Islam is offended that Israel has re-established itself on land that Islam had laid claim. They do not want compromise. They want eradication. No Islamic fanatic is too fanatical when it comes to the eradication of Israel. No statement by any Islamic leader is considered too much when it comes to hate against Israel. No action by any Islamic group against Israel will ever be considered improper as long as Jews die. It is why God is soon to judge Islam because of their heart. Because of their resistance to God's inheritance.
Jer 3:17-18
17 At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
18 In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

Sometimes it is rather useful having a gas mask lying about the
house. Tonight is one such occasion. As soon as the sun goes down tonight in
Israel, all over the country youngsters and adults will be gathering around huge
bonfires to celebrate the festival of Lag B'Omer (http://www.virtualjerusalem.com/judaism/holidays/).
As a result, the air gets extremely smoky and breathing becomes quite a
challenge....
Tonight is also the busiest night of the year for Israel's
able firemen and women. Invariably, there is always an undiscovered pyromaniac
or two lurking about who gets carried away by the fiery festivities and goes a
bit too far, recklessly burning adjacent properties and the like. Did you know
that in Meron, in the northern area of the country, hundreds of Orthodox Jews
converge on the alleged burial place of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai for festivities
that includes a unique celebration known as Chalaka when three year old boys
have their first haircut. After the haircut, the child usually receives a new
kippah (skullcap), tzitzit (fringed garment), and lots of sweets to mark the
occasion.
Wishing you a happy and safe Lag B'Omer!
Now to the unhappy reality:
Hunt on for killers of Tekoa boys stoned to
death
By
Amnon Barzilai and Baruch Kra
Ha'aretz Correspondents
By last night the army had arrested
15 villagers for questioning, but released some. Elsewhere in the area, the Shin
Bet made arrests. ......
A paratroop regiment, Magen David Adom, police and the Shin Bet
descended on the scene. Investigators quickly concluded the boys had been
intercepted by passing Arabs - probably two, evidence at the scene suggested.
They had been stoned to death - the formal cause of death was bludgeoning of
their heads.
The IDF has videotape of the dead boys but Chief of Staff
Shaul Mofaz ordered it should not to be distributed to the media. The bodies
were taken directly from the scene of the murder to burial in the Tekoa
cemetery. .......
Schoolmates of the two boys say that many children of Tekoa
regularly use the steep wadi area, which is dotted with old caves that were
shored up in the Byzantine era and used by monks for hermitages, as their
"backyard" playground.
They said the boys may have been seeking out a
spot for tonight's Lag B'Omer bonfire. Police sources said the boys were
carrying rucksacks, which were still full of food when their bodies were
discovered, indicating the murders may have taken place Tuesday morning, before
they had a chance to eat. The wadis are frequented by Palestinians and Bedouin
in the area. Just the night before, some 70 goats were stolen from Tekoa.
..........
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon condemned the murders, calling the
"escalation in the situation a result of the unending incitement to murder in
the Palestinian media, which is under the absolute authority of
Arafat."
Speaking to reporters in the Knesset, he said the murder in
Tekoa was the result of the PA's refusal to fulfill its commitments and act
against terrorism. "To our regret, the Palestinian security organizations are
the main elements in the terror nowadays," he said. "They cooperate with the
Hezbollah and Hamas, which are deepening their involvement here."
It takes a lot of hate to stone to death two young brothers as was done here in Tekoa. This was not some indiscriminate, accidental act. It was the determinate, vicious, torturous act of murder against children. Of what were these two young brothers guilty? They were guilty of being born - Jewish. They died together because they are Jewish. A very famous Jewish cowboy of yesteryear was born in Tekoa. He spoke for God against Gaza and the other neighbors of Israel who together were guilty of committing similar acts. Islam is in a state of blind hate against the Jew. They are traveling the same road as the former neighbors of Israel. Neighbors who let hate dictate their actions!
Amos 1:1-2
1:1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdman of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.

KJV
Amos 1:6-7
6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:
7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:
KJV
Jer 6:1
6:1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.
KJV
Could the trumpet in Tekoa be blowing? Could the great evil from the north be massing in preparation for a great Islamic invasion (Jihad) of Israel? Are these Old Testament prophecies becoming very relevant for us today?

KATSAV: WE WOULD NEVER STOOP THAT
LOW
Israeli President Moshe Katsav said on Thursday that
Israel would never stoop to the brutality displayed in the stoning to death of
two Jewish boys this week, which he said brought about a terrifying realization
of how much cruelty and hatred the Palestinians harbor against
Israelis.
"There is a huge gap between us and our enemies - not just in
ability but in morality, culture, sanctity of life, and conscience," Katsav told
reporters at Beit Hanassi. "We would never stoop to the kind of brutality
inflicted on the victims in Tekoa and Ofra," he added. "They're our neighbors
here, but it seems as if at a distance of a few hundred meters away, there are
people
who don't belong to our continent, to our world, but actually belong
to a different galaxy."

SYRIANS STILL ON WARPATH AGAINST
JEWS
Following close on Syrian dictator Bashar Assad's
antisemitic comments to Pope John Paul II in Damascus, Defense Minister Mustafa
Tlas asserted on Wednesday that killing Jews is a duty for Arabs.
"We
live a tradition of martyrdom," Tlas said in an interview on Lebanese TV. "When
I see a Jew before me, I kill him. If every Arab did this, it would be the end
of the Jews."
**********************************************************
MORE ISLAMIC POISON AGAINST JEWS
The following is a report by the Islamic Republic News Agency of
Iran (IRNA) on the story of the brutal murder this week of two Jewish youths,
both aged 14, who had been stoned and beaten to death by Palestinians, their
heads and torsos crushed by large rocks. The two teens had cut school for a day
to hike in a wadi near their homes in Tekoa.
"Two Jewish terrorists
killed"
"AL-Khalil (IRNA) - Two Jewish terrorists were killed Tuesday
night outside a Jewish settlement south of the Palestinian town of Bethlehem,
the Israeli occupation army said today. The bodies of the two terrorists were
found outside the settlement of T'ku, 5 miles south of Bethlehem. The occupation
army said the two Jewish terrorists were apparently stabbed to
death,
ostensibly by Palestinian guerrillas. Following the discovery of the
dead terrorists, the Israeli occupation army began a wide search for the
guerrillas thought to have been involved in the incident."
The Jewish cowboy of yesteryear from Tekoa wrote God's
evaluation of Israel's then hate filled neighbors. A contemporary Amos would
update the names of the neighbors to Lebanon (Tyrus), Syria (Damascus), Jordan
(Edom, Ammon), and the Palestinians (Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Ekron, remenant of
the Philistines). The same hate filled neighbors of today can expect the same
evaluation and coming judgments from the same God of Amos.

The roots of Palestinian
hatred
By Nadav Shragai
The media last week spared the public the close-up
photographs of the battered bodies of the two children from the settlement of
Tekoa, and that was the right decision. Whoever perpetrated the crime did not
stop with killing; the bodies were abused in a way that is beyond the human
imagination. Once more it is apparent that a fierce hatred underlies this
atrocity and others like it, such as the lynching of the two soldiers in
Ramallah last October, or the more recent murder of the infant girl Shalhevet
Pas, from the Jewish settlement in Hebron, by a Palestinian sharpshooter who
locked his gunsight on the baby girl's head and fired.
The Palestinians
were not born as Jew-haters. Hatred is an acquired trait, and the Palestinian
establishment has been cultivating it for years. True, it accompanied the
Jewish-Palestinian conflict from its inception, but even after the signing of
the Oslo accords no one uprooted it. The Israeli media "discovered" this fact of
life at a relatively late stage. The official textbooks of the Palestinian
Authority are filled to overflowing with incitement and hatred for Jews, as are
the Palestinian media, both the official stations and the ostensibly private
ones.
Last month a survey by the Palestinian Research Institute (the
Jerusalem Center for Media and Communications) found that 73.7 percent of the
residents of the areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority support suicide
terrorist attacks against Israel. That mass of support did not arise out of
nowhere. .............
When the Al-Aqsa Intifada broke out, some preachers called for the
slaughter of the Jews. Since then there have also been prayers for the
annihilation of the Jews, and the Palestinians also learned that anyone who
concedes Haifa, Lod and Ashkelon is "a revolting criminal who is doomed to go to
hell."
The messages are consistent and they are voiced both by clerics
and by members of the political leadership. Their gist is the demonization of
the Jews, non-recognition of their legitimacy as a nation, and blood libels of
the worst kind. On Palestinian television the official clerics of the
Palestinian Authority declare that the confrontation with Israel is the eternal
religious war of Islam against the Jews.
The hatred the Palestinians bear
for us, some Jews will be sorry to learn, does not stem solely from territorial
reasons. The preachers portray the hatred for the Jews as the will of Allah, the
Jews as the enemies of Allah and the religious obligation to kill Jews as the
decree of Allah.
This is not just the hate of a
few radicals. This hate is taught and nurtured as religious dogma. Islam has
accepted hate against Israel as it's mantra. Islam has made a choice from which
it can't pull back. The clerics have committed all Islam to this doctrine. The
entire system now rests on this pillar of hate against Israel. There can be no
decent anymore. Those voices will be quickly exterminated. There can be no
moderation. Kill the Jew is the will of Allah to this generation of Islam. The
die is cast. The town is no longer big enough for Israel and Islam. One is going
to have to go.
The Bible says it will be Islam!!! For three transgressions and for four!!!

Israeli Arabs urged to
mark 'Al-Nakba'
By David Rudge
HAIFA (May 14) - Israeli Arab leaders are calling on the Arab public to observe a minute's silence at noon tomorrow to mark "Al-Nakba" (the catastrophe), which is how Palestinians define the creation of the State of Israel.
The Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel was approved at a festive session of the People’s Council, comprised of representatives of the yishuv (the Jewish community in Palestine) and the Zionist movement, on Friday, May 14, 1948, several hours before the British Mandate for Palestine came to an end.
Al-Nakaba the catastrophe? Yes, what is the catastrophe to the Arabs. What is the catastrophe for Islam. What is the catastrophe for the worship of Allah. What is the catastrophe for all who reject the Biblical God, is also the greatest glory ever given by God to men. What is the catastrophe for the rebel is the glory for all who come to the salvation offered freely by the God of the Bible. Catastrophe for one is glory for another!
The same glory of Israel is soon coming again!
Isa 46:13
13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.
KJV
Luke 2:25-33
25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

PALESTINIAN VIOLENCE BUILDS AHEAD OF "AL-NAKBA"
PROTESTS
Palestinian violence and terrorism has mounted in
recent days and promises to escalate further on Tuesday as Palestinians stage
their annual protests to mark "Al-Nakba" - "the catastrophe" of the rebirth of
Israel in May 1948.
Two IDF soldiers and three Israeli civilians,
including a thirteen year old girl, were wounded in incidents over the weekend,
the results of more than two dozen shooting attacks and twelve mortar shells
fired in seven salvos at Jewish communities in the Gaza Strip and across the
border. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority was outraged on Monday over the
deaths of five members of its security forces, killed in a skirmish with Israeli
troops late last night. .......

NO END TO SYRIAN THREATS
Just
days after encouraging Arabs to "kill Jews," the defense minister of Syria said
on Friday that his country is not afraid of war with Israel and will never stop
supporting Hizb'Allah terrorists in Lebanon.
"We in Syria are never
afraid of war. As military men, this is both our choice and destiny," Defense
Minister Mustafa Tlass said in an interview published Friday in the Syrian
political weekly AL-MAJALLA. "We are also happy to step up the conflict if that
is what they [the Israelis] want."
Tlass has served as Syria's defense
minister for three decades and is considered one of the most powerful men in the
ruling Ba'ath party hierarchy. He is a veteran of Syria's military failures in
wars with Israel in 1967 and 1973. In Israel, Tlass is best known for authoring
a book purporting to document the 1841 charge against the Jews of Damascus for
killing Arab children to use their blood in making matza at Passover.
In
an interview on Lebanese TV last Monday, Tlass insisted, "We [Arabs] live a
tradition of martyrdom... When I see a Jew before me, I kill him. If every Arab
did this, it would be the end of the Jews."
Tlass' comments follow the
anti-Semitic rantings of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad during the landmark
visit of Pope John Paul III to Syria last week. Assad blamed Israel for
murdering and torturing Palestinians just as the Jews "betrayed and tortured
Jesus" 2000 years ago. He charged the Jewish people with attacking Muslim and
Christian religious sites, and suggested they had unjustly benefited from
exaggerating their past sufferings Earlier, Assad repeatedly called Israeli
society "more racist than Nazism" for electing the "killer" Ariel Sharon as
prime minister.
King David ruled over Syria in his day. Another descendent of David, the root of Jesse, will also rule over Syria. The root of Jesse will rule over the whole world. The catastrophe of Islam is the joy of the world.
2 Sam 8:5-6
5 And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
6 Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

Amos 1:3-5
3 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:
4 But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.
5 I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD.
KJV
Isa 11:10-12
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
KJV
Rom 15:8-12
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
10 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.
11 And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
12 And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Egypt has obtained components for guidance systems from German companies in a renewed effort to complete a medium-range ballistic missile.
European intelligence sources said the Egyptian orders were placed over the last year, with the latest one submitted in February. They said the Egyptian government bought the components from Germany through front companies.
The missile transaction was traced by both European and U.S. intelligence services, the sources said. They said the components were delivered from Germany to Japan, where the shipment disappeared. They said the components were sent to North Korea for modification and are now believed to be in Egypt.
Germany still has many who hate the Jew. They still blame the Jew rather then their own sin for WW II. Israel sees it's woes increase. It knows well how all this hate turns into action. Islam wants to eradicate Israel because of hate. The means to accomplish this desire becomes more real with each passing day. Israel is a small Nation in land mass. It's population is condensed into a few key targets. Only God can save Israel from the technology flowing into the Islamic world. The hate it takes to kill every Jew in Israel is there. Soon the technology to accomplish the task will be there too. Egypt has a long history of hate for their Jewish neighbor.

Peres: Israel is in battle for

Israel is
locked in a "battle for its existence," says Foreign Minister Shimon Peres. "The
problems are existential, and in all my days I have never known their like," he
said yesterday in an interview with Ha'aretz.
"There were similar
situations in the past, but then everybody was mobilized... Today, too, everyone
must mobilize. Then, it was to survive, and now it is to prevent the danger of
war and attain peace."

The silence of the
Pope
By
Eliahu Salpeter
The
Pope said nothing. He did not say one word when his host, Syrian President
Bashar Assad, used the fact that the television cameras were broadcasting the
Pontiff's visit to all four corners of the Christian world to accuse the Jews of
having killed Jesus (and attempting to kill the Prophet Mohammed).Pope John Paul
II has done more than any of his predecessors to promote conciliation with
Judaism. He publicly apologized for the sins of Christians toward their "older
brothers," the Jews. The Pope visited and recited a prayer in Jerusalem's Yad
Vashem Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority and was the first
Pontiff ever to visit a synagogue. However, in Damascus, he did not protest the
revival of the ancient accusation regarding the murder of Jesus by the Jews - an
accusation that served as the inspiration for countless pogroms over a period of
1,500 years.
The silence of the Pope has echoed powerfully throughout the
Jewish world - primarily in the American Jewish community - as Jews make the
(absurd) comparison between Pope John Paul II's silence in Damascus and the
horrifying silence of Pope Pius XII despite the cries of the six million Jews
who perished in the Holocaust. The failure of John Paul to respond to Assad's
remarks is all the more amazing in view of the Pope's undoubted awareness of the
fact that the Vatican's decision to erase the age-old accusation of deicide
against the Jews - a decision taken by Vatican II in 1965 - has not yet become
rooted in the psyche of many less sophisticated members of the Christian world.
Thus, many of the billion television viewers around the globe who watched Assad
as he uttered his statement in the presence of a silent Pontiff, might get the
impression that the accusation has not really been erased.

Israeli shot dead in West Bank
ambush
Four Palestinians die, dozens hurt in Nakba clashes
Ha'aretz Staff and
Agencies
An Israeli
woman was killed in a Palestinian shooting attack last night and four
Palestinians were killed in clashes with the IDF, as violence raged throughout
the territories on the anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe), as Palestinians
term the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948.
Idit Mizrahi, 22,
from the secular West Bank settlement of Rimonim, was driving to Jerusalem for a
family wedding with her father and brother shortly after 7 P.M. when Palestinian
gunmen opened fire on their car. She was hit in the neck by a bullet and died
almost immediately; a Magen David Adom team was unable to revive her. Her
father, Moshe Mizrahi, was lightly injured by a bullet in the leg and is being
treated in Jerusalem's Sha'are Zedek hospital. Her brother, Amit, was lightly
injured by glass and metal fragments.
The Two Doves: one now speaks out about the battle for Israel's very existence while the other remains silent? All the time reality speaks silently of death to the innocent. I think it is worthy to note that Israel's peacenik is realizing the futility of saying peace, peace, when there is no peace. I think it is also significant that the "man of peace" says absolutely nothing. His silence shows the embracement he must feel as the voices of hate use him as their instrument. The "man of peace" seems to have lost his wise peaceful words in the face of the reality he found. Peres wants his kind of political peace. The Pope wants his kind of religious peace (Roman Catholic peace). God is preparing to bring in His Kingdom peace on all (righteous peace with iron rod rule enforced by the Lord Jesus Christ at His Second Coming).
Jer 6:13-14

Ben-Eliezer warns Syria not to back
Hezbollah
By Sharon Gal
Syria will bear the consequences of its support for the Hezbollah
if the guerrilla group continues to attack Israeli positions along the Lebanese
border, Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer yesterday warned Syrian President
Bashar Assad.
Ben-Eliezer made the comments during a visit to the Golan
Heights, following a Hezbollah rocket attack on IDF positions near Har Dov three
days ago.
“Nothing deters us. We see the Syrians responsible for what took
place,” Ben-Eliezer declared. “I will not go shoot at the Hezbollah who are
hiding behind women and children and I will not shoot at civilian targets, but I
will hit whomever is responsible for what goes on in Lebanon. I am sending from
here, once again, a message to the Syrian president. Bashar Assad: I suggest
that you tell the Hezbollah, clearly, not to escalate the situation on your
back. I am telling you that violence will not help and it is best for you to
return to the negotiating table,” he urged.

UN plans to reduce presence in
Lebanon
By Shlomo Shamir

The
United Nations Security Council is expected to approve Secretary General Kofi
Annan's recommendation to reduce the size of UNIFIL in southern Lebanon, despite
strong opposition from the Lebanese government and Israeli reservations.
Israel says it's had it with this covert war in Lebanon with the Syrian backed terrorists Hezbollah. The Syrian dictator Assad cuts short his visit to Egypt because of the seriousness of the matter. What does the UN do? They decide they have too many peace keepers in Lebanon, and must reduce the forces?
The world is never going to solve the problems in the Middle East! It is beyond worldly ability. Only God can bring true peace. The world will continue floundering until the lesson is learned well. God will intervene, but only at the right time. Only when the world learns the lesson well.

4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

"Yom Yerushalayim" commemorates the re-unification of Jerusalem in 1967. It is May 20 - 21, 2001, corresponding to Iyar 28 on the Hebrew calendar.
Biggest ever turnout expected for NY's Israel
parade Sunday
<http://www.virtualjerusalem.com/news/usnews/?disp_feature=h8aipA.var>
It
was once common for 100,000 New York Jews to turn out at rallies and parades for
Israel, and observers are predicting - and hoping - that a community unified in
support of Israel may top those old-time turnouts at Sunday's Salute To Israel
parade.
The parade will be the first community-wide event in support of
Israel since the Arab uprising began last September.

We ran there, a group of panting soldiers, lost on the plaza
of the Temple Mount, searching for a giant stone wall. We did not stop to look
at the Mosque of Omar even though this was the first time we had seen it close
up. Forward! Forward! Hurriedly, we pushed our way through the Magreb Gate and
suddenly we stopped, thunderstruck. There it was before our eyes! Gray and
massive, silent and restrained. The Western Wall!
Slowly,
slowly I began to approach the Wall in fear and trembling like a pious cantor
going to the lectern to lead the prayers. I approached it as the messenger of my
father and my grandfather, of my great-grandfather and of all the generations in
all the exiles who had never merited seeing it - and so they had sent me to
represent them. Somebody recited the festive blessing: "Blessed are You, O Lord
our God, King of the Universe who has kept us alive, and maintained us and
brought us to this time." But I could not answer "Amen." I put my hand on the
stones and the tears that started to flow were not my tears. They were the tears
of all Israel, tears of hope and prayer, tears of Chasidic tunes, tears of
Jewish dances, tears which scorched and burned the heavy gray stone.

Jerusalem has no strategic signifigance. It has no commercial or industrial importance, and it is not a cultural center.
How has this ancient city, unimportant as it appears, crept to the heart of contention between Israel and the Palestinians over the future of the land of Israel? Why should we care what happens to Jerusalem?
When the Jews were first exiled from Jerusalem, King David said, "If I forget you Jerusalem, let my right hand lose its strength. Let my tongue cling to my palate if I fail to recall you, if I fail to elevate Jerusalem above my highest joy." The memory of Jerusalem somehow is linked to our current vigor as a people. But how? What is the memory of Jerusalem, and what does it contribute to who we are?
"Yom Yerushalayim" = Jerusalem Day. This day is a momentous day for Bible students. Main stream Christianity long ago usurped all the future promises to the Jew. The future Kingdom was declared a Christian Kingdom, and the Pope expected to be the future King of a united Christianity. "Yom Yerushalayim" exposes this as false theology. It is a Jewish Kingdom that is the reality of today. It will be a Jewish King who will rule from Jerusalem! The Christian world is being turned upside-down by the return of Israel. "Thy Kingdom Come" has new meaning because of "Yom Yerushalayim!"
Matt 6:9-13
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

May 20,21, 2001 - "Yom Yerushalayim"
During the almost 2,000 years of
the Jewish exile and dispersion from Israel, many wars have been fought over
Jerusalem. All told, the city has been destroyed and rebuilt no less than 9
times - with each conqueror further attempting to obscure the glorious Jewish
past.
But through the centuries, one symbol has miraculously remained
intact: the Western Wall. It represents the indestructibility of the Jewish
People.
The Wall did not always look like it does today. What we see of the Wall today is in reality only a small portion of the actual Wall. The Western Wall was built as a retaining wall to support the western side of the Temple Mount. It stretches some 200 meters - the length of the Temple Mount (to the left as you look at the Wall). Most of it is obscured behind the structures of the Muslim Quarter
From the onset of the Middle Ages, the area in front of the
Wall had been used as a garbage dump. (That is why the gate nearby the Wall is
called "Dung Gate.") In the 16th century, the Sultan Suleiman discovered the
location of the Wall and had the area cleaned out.
In the early 20th
century, Arab homes had been built up to 15 feet from the Wall, leaving just a
narrow alleyway - a space of about fifteen feet in front of the Wall - for Jews
to come and pray
Following the Israeli War of Independence in 1948, the armistice
line between Israel and Jordan ran through the middle of the city, dividing
Jerusalem. Jordan occupied the Old City, including the Temple Mount, the Jewish
Quarter, and the Western Wall. The Jewish population of the Old City was forced
out of the area, all the synagogues in the Old City were destroyed - and Jews
were forbidden by Jordanian law to visit the Western Wall.
On June 7, 1967 -
the third day of the Six-Day War - Israeli forces recaptured the Old City of
Jerusalem, including the Western Wall.
During the war, most of the residents of the Magreb Quarter
(the buildings in front of the Wall) had left the area when Israeli forces began
to surround the Old City on the first day of the war. Those who were left were
relocated by the Israeli government to a new community. The buildings were then
removed, enabling construction of the large Western Wall Plaza which
accommodates thousands of visitors to the Wall daily.

Arabs Urged to Sever Israel Ties
The

CAIRO, Egypt –– Arab governments should
sever all contact with Israel until the Jewish state ceases military action
against Palestinians, Arab representatives demanded Saturday, throwing into
doubt whether Egypt and Jordan would continue efforts to mediate an
Israeli-Palestinian cease-fire.
A meeting of Arab foreign ministers and delegates made the recommendation. Arab League declarations are not binding on governments, but the foreign ministers and other senior officials attending Saturday's meeting were believed to have been in contact with the highest levels of their governments during the eight-hour gathering.

250 more suicide bombers

By Lamia Lahoud
JERUSALEM (May
20) - Palestinian extremists held a meeting somewhere around Jerusalem yesterday
at which they recruited some 250 volunteer suicide bombers to initiate a
campaign of terror in revenge for the killing of Palestinians, sources said
yesterday. They did not want to say which Palestinian factions attended the
meeting along with Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
The News is not good for Jerusalem Day 2001. Israel is in a death
struggle with it's Islamic neighbors. The joyful thoughts must be for a future
day. A day when the Prince of Peace will defeat all rebels. He will bring in
righteous peace. It will be the peace of iron rod rule by the Lord Jesus Christ.
It will come rolled in the garments of bloody war, but it will be a glorious,
everlasting peace for those who love God. It will be death and destruction for
those who rebel and resist. It all happens at Jerusalem. It all centers in the
Jewish Temple where the throne of David will be sat upon by the
Prophet/Priest/King of the Bible. Then
"Yom Yerushalayim" will be
glorious!
Isa 9:5-7
5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

"HEART OF THE NATION"

Jerusalem -- together with the Temple Mount and
the Western Wall -- was not all that was liberated during the Six Day War. Also
liberated was the spirit of that part of the people of Israel that was caught
behind the Iron Wall of the Soviet Union.
During the Six Day War,
this spirit was revived and came to life, like a sleeping giant awakening from
his slumber. For the first time, we -- millions of Jews who had been distanced
from their land and their legacy -- felt our Jewish identity. We felt Jewish
brotherhood, we felt Jewish pride. We dreamt of a return to Zion, of our return
home.
This dream drew tens of thousands and millions back to the Land of
Yisrael, out of a feeling of great uplifting faith. This belief is that which,
in the end, knocked the Iron Wall to the ground, and broke an international
superpower into tiny pieces.
May 20,21, 2001 - "Yom Yerushalayim"
Talk about dividing up the Old City stirs memories of the Jewish Quarter which was destroyed by Arabs in 1948.
There's a small museum in the middle of the Cardo in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City which puts the current struggle over Jerusalem in context. "The Last Day" is a display of a series of photographs taken in 1948 as the Jews were assembled and expelled from Jerusalem. Among the smiling Arab faces are the relatives of some of today's leaders including Faisal Husseini. The museum also prominently displays some "before" and "after" shots so the visitor can get an impression of the bustling Jewish Quarter with its many impressive synagogues and public buildings -- all destroyed after the Jews were driven out.
The Arab destruction of the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem and use of Jewish tombstones from the Mount of Olives as building material [for roads and latrines] was just another chapter in their ongoing struggle against Jewish people for the same piece of real estate, a struggle which started well before 1948. As part of it, the Arabs did everything they could to block Jews from reaching the Promised Land or gaining a foothold there.
Before 1948 Arabs fought fiercely to deny Jews everything but a minimal presence at the "Wailing Wall." They did not even allow Jews to blow the shofar there at the end of Yom Kippur -- a ban which Palestinian Authority Minister of Wakf and Religious Affairs Hassan Tahboob wants to reinstate so the Jews won't "disturb" Moslem services.
During the period of Jordanian occupation from 1948 to 1967, all Jews were barred entry into the entire Old City.
When the Arabs failed to destroy of Jewish state in 1967 and instead found themselves facing an Israel with lines extending to the Jordan River, the representatives of the Wakf on the Temple Mount prepared for the worst. But Israel didn't pay the Arabs in kind. The city was not cleared of Arabs, and Mordechai Gur's memorable "The Temple Mount is in our hands" notwithstanding, Moshe Dayan made it clear to the Wakf that the mount remained firmly in Arab hands.....
When one considers the many divergent groups that make up the ruling coalition in City Hall, one can only imagine the associated political power and benefits Arab Jerusalemites might have enjoyed all these years if had they opted to participate in the process. But they have preferred to wait for the Jews to leave -- or be driven out...
But when I recall the photographs in that small museum in the Cardo and try to imagine what would have happened had we lost the war in 1967, I must say, quite frankly, that I sleep well at night.
It is no surprise how the world closes it's eyes to the Jew. If it were not the Arabs, it would be the Germans. If not the Germans, it would be someone else. It matters not the foe. It only matters that there is worldwide hate for the Jew. It is the same hate the world has for the literal Bible. Most of Christianity has substituted itself in place of the future blessings promised the Jew. They usurp the Kingdom as Christian. These Christians hate the Jew as much as any other foe. The Jew has miraculously returned to the Holy Land in spite of all the hate. They await the blessings promised by the God of the Bible. "Yom Yerushalayim" means God has chosen the Jew over Islam. "Yom Yerushalayim" means God has chosen the Jew over the false theology of much of Christianity. "Yom Yerushalayim" means God has chosen the Jew over the Gentile nations. "Yom Yerushalayim" means a lot of hate from those who oppose the God of the Bible.
Isa 41:8-11
8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
9 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
11 Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.

Who do you believe?
The Israeli army said the Palestinians killed earlier on Monday were attempting to plant a roadside bomb near the border fence with Israel. Palestinian officials said the men were farmers on the way to their field.
And, reporting on the earlier air strike, the
Israelis described the target as factory which produced mortar bombs used in
anti-Israeli attacks.
"The factory is one of a few facilities which make mortar bombs that are
fired towards Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip and towards Israel's
boundaries," the statement said.
The Palestinians, however, say the Israeli strike destroyed a steelworks
factory, wounding four people.
Truth is not a factor by those who engage in propaganda. Some day the truth may come out on much of the bombings done by the Clinton administration that often diverted attention from the repercussions of his immorality. We now know the truth about Viet Nam propaganda on both sides. This propaganda war is dirty business by any and all who practice it. Truth is purposely disregarded in the zeal to justify the actions of one foe against another. When it comes to Israel, it matters not who is winning the propaganda war. It matters not who is lying, or spinning, or embellishing. What does matter is what God has determined He will do to accomplish His plan in Christ. God is preparing to set up His Kingdom. God does not use propaganda. He bases all His decisions on truth. It matters not to God if all men are liars. God is setting up a Jewish Kingdom based on truth, and all who resist will find only judgment. The day is soon approaching when the meek shall inherit the earth from the lying propagandites. Only those who submit to God's Jewish Kingdom ruled by His Jewish King shall find victory in truth.

Mubarak calls Bush |
SPECIAL TO WORLD TRIBUNE.COM
Tuesday, May 22, 2001
CAIRO — Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is again warning that the Middle East is sliding toward war.
"The situation is deteriorating in a serious manner and will get more complicated," Mubarak said. "I fear it might reach a point of no return."
Mubarak has telephoned President George Bush to discuss the latest violence in the region.
Over the weekend, the Egyptian president also telephoned French President Jacques Chirac, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and Russian President Vladimir Putin, Middle East Newsline reported.
Mubarak said Israel's response to Palestinian mortar attacks is excessive and escalating tension. It was the latest warning by the Egyptian president that the Middle East is heading toward war.
Is this going to be the Last Jihad of Ezekiel 38 & 39? Eventually - yes! However, I keep looking North not South for the real threat. The Islamic Gog (not Russia, but Russian Moslems) North of the Caucus Mountains (North of Turkey) is where Ezekiel 38 & 39 indicate the real threat will come. It is here where the leadership of the invasion comes. Turkey (Togarmah) will join these Islamic hordes as well as Gomer (Moslems living around the Black Sea) in the invasion of Israel. Old Persia (Iran & Iraq) invade from the East, and the North African Moslems (Libya & Ethiopia) invade from the South. Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon are surprisingly not mentioned as part of the invasion. It does not mean they will not be there. It just means they are not in the roll of leadership in this Islamic invasion. I personally feel there may be a peace of sorts with the boarder neighbors of Israel? It is all speculation until these events take place, but certainly if Ezekiel 38 & 39 should take place in the near future it can only be an Islamic Jihad!

3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.

TALIBAN MARKING NON-MUSLIMS
The
repressive Taliban regime in Afghanistan is drawing heat again, this time for
ordering non-Muslims to wear identity badges on their clothing, a move Jewish
leaders are denouncing as "reminiscent of the Holocaust."
The "religious
police" minister for the Taliban, the hard-line Islamic faction controlling
nearly all the mountainous country, confirmed on Tuesday that thousands of
Hindus will soon be required to wear an identity label to distinguish them from
Muslims. The Afghan official said the decision would be decreed into law once a
"fatwa" (Islamic religious ruling) was issued
affirming it is in line with
Islamic law, which requires religious minorities living in an Islamic state to
be identified. He added that it will only affect Hindus, since there are no
Christians or Jews in Afghanistan. The edict follows the Taliban's recent
destruction of ancient rock-hewn Buddhist statues, and years of harsh
discrimination against women and other human rights abuses.
It is all speculation, but here is the part of Islam to watch in my estimation. I keep my eyes looking North. Here dwells the Gog of the land of Magog. It is here where Noah's grandsons who went North settled after departing the Mount Ararat area which is one of the peaks of the Caucus Mountains. Here is where the hate for Israel will explode into an invasion which will unite all of Islam. It is from here that the Last Jihad will be put into action. The Taliban are only the start of what I expect will be a sweeping movement involving all of Islam North of the Caucus Mountains that separate Turkey from the old USSR. All the new Moslem Nations along and near the old boarder are the chief (Russian) princes of their old master who is the King of the North. It is an Islamic Gog that comes down into Israel in Ezekiel 38 & 39. These Taliban type Moslems from the North will be joined by the Moslems around the Black Sea (Gomer), and Turkey (Togarmah). From the East will come old Persia (Iran & Iraq). And from the South will come North Africa - Libya & Ethiopia (Put & Cush). It is an all Islamic invasion which I believe takes place right at the beginning of the 7 year Tribulation. The destruction of Islam will open the door to the building of the Third Jewish Temple by the Two Witnesses of Revelation chapter 11. The Tribulation starts with a regional war (Ezekiel 38 & 39) that brings a temporary peace, but ends with the global war of Armageddon.

SHARON TAKES UP AMERICAN CHALLENGE FOR
TRUCE
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon scored points with
the Bush Administration by announcing on Tuesday night a unilateral cease-fire
pursuant to the Mitchell report, but the Palestinians are calling it a bluff and
refuse to give up the
fight.
***********************************************************
Heavy gun battles erupt in Gaza Strip
***********************************************************
PALESTINIANS OPT FOR MORE
HOSTILITIES
Despite Israel's declaration of a unilateral
ceasefire, the Palestinians continued to wage war, with an Israeli killed in an
ambush near Ariel on Wednesday.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon took
up a challenge from the Bush Administration on Tuesday night by ordering Israeli
forces to observe an unconditional, unilateral ceasefire. Israeli Defense
Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer promptly instructed the IDF to halt all operations
and to only open fire "in life-threatening situations." Nonetheless, Palestinian
attacks have continued over the past 24 hours since then, with no signs of a
let-up.
An Israeli contractor from Modi'in was killed and a security
guard was wounded by Palestinian gunfire in an attack today while they were
driving near Ariel. The IDF force that arrived on the scene also came under
fire. Footprints of three men fleeing towards the Arab village of Salfit were
found in the vicinity.
In continuing violence in Gaza today, Palestinians
threw four anti-tank grenades at an IDF force near the Israeli-Egyptian border
this afternoon. Earlier, Palestinians shot at IDF forces in the Neveh Dekalim
industrial area in Gush Katif, and a roadside bomb was detonated along the
border with Egypt.
In a major development today, Israeli intelligence
services announced that a Gaza iron foundry owner arrested this past week has
admitted to producing some 10,000 mortar shells and hand grenades for the
Palestinian Authority. The information supplied by the factory owner sparked a
pre-dawn attack on Monday by IDF helicopter gun-ships on his plant in the
Jabalya refugee camp. He related that senior PA security officials in Gaza
Mohammed Dahlan and Ghazi Jibali ordered the mortars, including longer-range
120mm shells. He said PLO chief Yasser Arafat knows of the operations, which are
part of a large-scale industrial network scattered throughout the Gaza Strip for
the production of mortar shells. The PA itself set up lathe-shops in police
headquarters where the elements were threaded, filled with explosives and
assembled. Some of the mortars have reached the "West Bank," according to the
arrested man.
The
Palestinians do not know what blessings are theirs right now. They are occupied
by Israel, but they do not know what could be a worse fate! They do not know how
the God of the Bible could deal with them because of their refusal to submit the
land God has given to Israel. God is always gracious to those who submit. Life
is not unbearable when God is allowed to manifest His will. Even a slave, if
submitted to God, finds life a joy as compared to a master who resists. Israel
has had to be the slave to it's Gentile masters for 2000 years. God is now
giving this generation of Jews the land again. The Palestinians can be thankful
God has not decreed the same fate as the first Gentiles who resisted
Israel.
Deut 20:10-17
10 When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace unto it.
11 And it shall be, if it make thee answer of peace, and open unto thee, then it shall be, that all the people that is found therein shall be tributaries unto thee, and they shall serve thee.
12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:
13 And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:
14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
15 Thus shalt thou do unto all the cities which are very far off from thee, which are not of the cities of these nations.
16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

25 killed, scores hurt in Israel after collapse of wedding
hall
I have mentioned often the hand of God being on the Jews in this latest return. Events like that above cause some to wonder? There is a differentiation between events that are common to all of mankind, and those that are intervening supernatural. God does not put anyone in a feather bed. The great Alaskan earthquake caused a tidal wave that washed away most of the town of Kodiak on Kodiak Island. The Russian Orthodox Church was built on the high ground so no other church could be built above them. The priest smugly boasted his church still stood while the Independent Bible Church was washed away. He pompously claimed the hand of god was involved. The fundamental pastor rightly said it was better to share the hardships with the people below then sit in some ivory tower aloof and unconnected to the realities of life. The Fundamental Church continued to preach the truth of repentance, and coming to Christ. The Russian Orthodox Church remained aloof and unconnected.
Luke 13:1-5
13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

'The Prayer of Jabez'
devotional book atop best-seller list & changing lives
May 24, 2001
By Tammi Reed
Ledbetter
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (BP)--Southern Baptists who might have moved
swiftly through the genealogical accounts of the Old Testament are taking a
serious look at a prayer recorded in 1 Chronicles 4:10 to make a personal
application. Most credit the best-selling book "The Prayer of Jabez" by Bruce
Wilkinson with raising their own expectations of God. In just 93 pages, the
Atlanta Bible teacher provides a commentary of the one-sentence prayer that
reads, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your
hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil."
"The book
has served to rekindle in me an awareness that nothing is going to be done
without the hand of blessing and that it's OK to ask God for that," said Tony
Chester, pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, Fla. "I'm more
motivated as a pastor to lead our church to be more of a praying church," he
told the Florida Baptist Witness newsjournal after reading the book.
Not
only is the tiny gift-sized book the top-selling volume for the past five months
at LifeWay Christian Stores, it has the number-one best-seller on the
prestigious New York Times list and at all Barnes and Noble stores. Publishers
Weekly religion editor Lynn Garrett predicts it will become the year's hardcover
best-seller with 3.5 million copies sold already.
Over 125 years ago Charles Spurgeon preached a sermon on this
same passage. His emphasis was praying with a right heart. Today Christians seem
to think the prayer of Jabez is a magic mantra that opens the coffers of God's
blessings? I think the best teaching on the prayer of Jabez comes from Spurgion
in a real life story of the lady who demanded prayer from him and the Church
Board for her dieing son without consideration for God's will. I'm afraid this
poor woman is represented by most who are making Willkinson's book such a
success. The son lived and grew up only to be hung a criminal disgracing himself
and his mother.
Read Spurgeon's 1871 sermon on The Prayer of Jabez.
1 Chron 4:9-10
9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

JERUSALEM (AP) - A nail-studded car bomb set by Palestinian militants exploded in one of central Jerusalem's main entertainment districts early Sunday, sending flames into the night sky.
Three people were treated at the scene for shock and a fourth for minor injuries, police said.
Police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby quoted eyewitnesses as saying two men had just parked a car in the parking lot where the explosion happened a few minutes before. The lot is near the Russian Orthodox cathedral, a police station and a popular street full of discos and restaurants. .......
Aharon Havivi said he was watching television at his home on a street overlooking the parking lot when he heard the blast. He displayed handfuls of rusty nails and mangled bodywork from the car that littered his yard.
The blast came a day after back-to-back suicide bombings and hours after thousands of Palestinians poured into the West Bank and Gaza strip for funerals of a suicide bomber and a militant.
At the funerals Saturday, children carried posters of the dead. Mourners shouted ``Revenge for the martyrs,'' as the remains of Hussein Abu Nasser, 22, and Azzam Mizher, 24, were carried through the crowds in the separate funerals.
In the Gaza Strip (news - web sites), about 2,000 people marched through the Jabaliya refugee camp to mourn the death of Abu Nasser, a suicide bomber who was killed Friday near an Israeli army post.
The Israeli army said his truck bypassed an Israeli roadblock, turned and headed into an access road to the Jewish settlement of Netzarim. Soldiers opened fire, and the vehicle exploded. The militant group Hamas claimed responsibility for the blast.
In the second bombing Friday, a car carrying explosives drove up alongside an Israeli bus near the central bus station in the central Israeli town of Hadera, killing the two bombers and injuring 45 Israelis.
The Islamic Jihad group claimed responsibility.
Mizher, a militant gunman, was killed Friday when a bomb exploded in the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank, Palestinian officials said Saturday. Four others were injured.
The Palestinian Authority (news - web sites) accused Israel of being involved. In recent months of fighting, Israel has killed several Palestinian militants in pinpointed attacks, including bombings.
But Israel denied involvement, saying the explosives apparently were meant for an attack on Israelis and went off prematurely. Mizher was a Balata gunman involved in frequent confrontations with Israeli troops in recent months.
The frustration continues for those who claim God is great when Jews are killed. These premature explosions are far too numerous to be ignored. Something unusual is taking place. Something supernatural. These terrorists finding their bombs going off in their hands are the worst haters of the Jew. They are the greatest resistors to God's ordained coming Jewish Kingdom. Other terrorists are finding their plan for maximum kill not working. I do not believe it is because Israel is so smart, or the terrorists are so dumb. I see another divine force being manifested.
Memorial Day should never be looked upon as America being smarter then the other nations. It should be the acknowledgment of the God of the Bible's will being manifested through America. The day is coming when a new Kingdom will be established by God. America will be but a memory. It's purpose fulfilled for the greater glory to come. It is for the establishment of this coming Kingdom of David that Memorial Day gains it's greatest honor.
Isa 55:1-9
55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

SUICIDE BOMBERS TEST SHARON'S CEASEFIRE
RESOLVE
Top Israeli leaders insisted over recent days their
decision to observe a unilateral ceasefire pursuant to the Mitchell report is
sincere and would be maintained for now, despite mounting Palestinian violence.
The move has further exposed the true hostile intensions of the Palestinian
side, but back-to-back suicide bombings on Friday are making it hard for
Jerusalem to
hold back much longer.
On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister
Ariel Sharon took the first step in complying with the Mitchell blueprint for
restoring regional calm by ordering Israeli forces not to initiate actions
against Palestinian terrorists, but only to respond when their lives were
endangered. Palestinian Authority figures uniformly mocked the unilateral
ceasefire as a mere public relations ploy and vowed to fight on.
Over the
next 48 hours, there were dozens of instances of Palestinian bombing and
shooting attacks, including heavy machine-gun fire that hit, for the first time,
apartments in the modern Malha section of Jerusalem, home to the Middle East's
largest shopping mall. Two Israelis were killed by Palestinian gunmen in Samaria
this week, and the rash of attacks continued
on Friday, capped by a pair of
suicide bombings. In one, the driver of a booby-trapped truck was shot at a key
border crossing into Gaza this morning, and in the second, two terrorists rammed
a car packed with explosives into the side of a bus in Hadera this afternoon,
leaving as many as 60 Israelis wounded.

Weekend bombs rock
central Jerusalem
By Etgar Lefkovits
JERUSALEM (May 29) - It is "miraculous," security officials said, that the
two powerful car bombs that rocked the center of Jerusalem in the space of nine
hours Sunday morning, sending mortar shells flying through the capital's busy
downtown streets, caused only a few minor wounds.
A handful of people
were lightly wounded by shrapnel and flying glass, and nearly three dozen were
treated for shock and fear, after the explosions that followed closely the
devastating collapse of the Versailles banquet hall on Thursday
night.
The more damaging of the two attacks occurred just before 9 a.m.
Sunday morning on the capital's Jaffa and Heshin Streets, just around the corner
from the Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, and Jerusalem
police headquarters.
It was also within 100 meters of the earlier attack,
a car bomb that exploded near the Russian Compound.
The Islamic Jihad
took responsibility for the morning attack in an announcement on Lebanese-based
Hizbullah television, while the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine
said it was behind the post-midnight blast in a fax sent to news
agencies.
The morning car bomb, which was rigged with mortars, nails,
bullets, and other explosive materials, launched seven mortar shells hundreds of
meters through the city center. One shell landed in the capital's Kikar Zion,
another landed in Independence Park, and several others were propelled by the
force of the explosion to rooftops along Jaffa Street.
Fortunately, none
exploded.
As a huge cloud of gray smoke billowed through the air,
additional explosions from the powerful bomb caused panic in the city's center,
which was closed to traffic for three hours as police sappers neutralized the
mortar shells, and took them to the Jerusalem forest, where they were
detonated.
The earlier attack came just after midnight in a parking lot
in the heart of the capital's Russian Compound, famed for its pubs and discos,
which were filled with young revelers for the busy Saturday night. A car bomb's
deafening explosion was followed by pillars of fire which quickly spread to -
and destroyed - cars nearby.
I would agree it is miraculous that the bombers find their plans to kill Jews frustrated! The greater miracle is that Jews have survived all the hate of 2000 years of dispersion. Not only have they survived, but they have reclaimed their land in the midst of even greater hate. It is truly miraculous! Only the most foolish can't see the hand of God operating in the midst of all this hate and resistance. It is also clear that hearts are set in stone. There can be no moderation. Islam is committed to resist Israel at every turn. There can be no compromise until every Jew is subdued or dead. Never could Islam submit to a Jewish King.
It is foolishness to resist God. It matters not to Him what fallen mankind may think or say. God knows their attitude toward Him. God knows the heart of man. It is foolishness to resist God, and His coming Kingdom!
Rev 16:21
21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
KJV
Rev 21:8
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving,
and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and
sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall
have their
part in the
lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second
death.

(13:15) Policeman
averts Temple Mount stabbing attempt
A policeman narrowly missed being stabbed by a 16-year-old Palestinian woman
a short time ago on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem's Old City.
The
policeman reportedly heard a voice behind him yell "Allah Akbar!" (God is
great), and turned around to face the youth.
He overcame the woman before
she stabbed him, taking her into custody.
She told investigators she was
a Nablus area resident and came to Jerusalem to carry out a terror attack,
Israel Radio reports.
This single incident encompasses everything taking place on the Temple Mount. It centers in why this murder attempt was not successful. This girl had to yell "Allah Akbar!" so the world would know she was not just a murderer, but a martyr. She was killing a Jew, and in so doing was making Allah great. It is a warped theology that this generation of Islamic clerics have engrained into the very hearts of the children. The hate is so venomous that the children know no other way of thinking. To kill a Jew is the greatest religious act that one could ever hope to accomplish. The clerics have succeeded, but in their victory they have doomed Islam.
God is establishing a coming Jewish Kingdom that will be ruled by the coming Jewish Messiah. He is soon coming again. He will sit on David's throne in Jerusalem at the Third Jewish Temple. All must submit to His authority. All Moslems, all Christians, all mankind, and including all secularized Jews. There will be no exceptions. All resistors will find only death. Coming to Christ will not be an option in that day. It is not an option today either. It is death and hell for all who reject. These are not the words of some cleric, but the words of the Bible.
John 3:14-21
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
KJV
Killing Jews for no other reason then they
are Jewish is not a deed wrought in the God of the Bible. Come to Christ now
before all your other options run out, and it's too late!

Supreme Court refuses appeal on Ten
Commandments display
May 29,
2001
By Tom Strode
WASHINGTON (BP)--The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to
review a lower court decision that the display of the Ten Commandments on
government property is unconstitutional.
The high court's May 29
announcement left standing a federal appeals court ruling that a granite
monument engraved with the Ten Commandments and located on public property in
Elkhart, Ind., violated the First Amendment's prohibition on government
establishment of religion.
Here is another attempt to outlaw God. Men have the foolish notion that God is somehow subject to them, not the other way around. Men think they can vote God into some religious corner where He must stay. God does not believe in democracy. It matters not to Him what men may decide. All that matters is what God decrees. The big Supreme Court news of today is not about the Ten Commandments, but a golfing decision. It shows the importance the news folks put on God. The day is coming quickly when God will not be ignored. The establishment of His coming Jewish Kingdom will not be put up for a vote. There will be no middle ground. Men will either submit or resist. God has already decreed how He will handle those who resist.
Matt 25:32-34
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
KJV
Matt 25:41
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
