BAGHDAD, Feb 7 (AFP) -
President Saddam Hussein has started to form an army "to liberate Jerusalem" from Israeli rule, a senior Iraqi official announced Wednesday.
"At the orders of President Saddam Hussein, we have started to form the first brigade of volunteers in the Al-Quds Al-Sharif (Jerusalem) Army to liberate Jerusalem," Ali Hassan al-Meguid, a member of the decision-making Revolutionary Command Council, told reporters.
Iraq has already announced the mobilisation of more than 6.5 million volunteers for a jihad, or Muslim holy war, against the Jewish state.

The call for a Jihad seems to be intensifying with the election of Sharon. He is the man who boldly walked on the Temple Mount at the beginning of this present crises. The Temple Mount again is center to all things happening this time in Israel. Here it effected the election of the latest Prime Minister, and intensified the rage of the Islamic world. Where is it all going? Personally, I look for a false peace before the Last Jihad of Ezekiel 38 & 39 takes place. I could be wrong? I think I am right in seeing a Last Jihad before a Third Jewish Temple can be built. I think I am right in seeing the present events in Israel heading to that end. I think I am right in assessing that the time is short before the rapture of all the born again Christians, and the next dispensation of God's Biblical plan beginning.

Palestinian attitude toward new Israeli Government
A statement from Fatah's leadership in the "West Bank" urged the
Palestinian Authority not to negotiate with the new prime minister. "If the
Israelis think that Sharon will bring them security, we say loudly that Israel
will never have security," the statement read. "We call for stepping up the
intifada and resistance in the face of the butcher Sharon."
The PA
security chief in Jericho, Jibril Rajoub, said Israel will be the first to
suffer if Sharon tries to dictate peace terms. "I think it's the Israeli people
who need to worry," he told ISRAEL RADIO. "If there is any mistake or craziness
on the part of your government, you will be the first
victims."
Doves or hawks it seems Jews are Jews, and the attitude of the Palestinian Arabs (and Islam as a whole) is the only good Jew is a dead Jew. The eradication of Israel is the only answer that will ever be satisfactory. Israel has faced this same animosity from her neighbors many times in the past. It is not new. If God's hand is really on Israel as it has been in the past, this attitude will find a terrible end. Often in the past God has used the nations, and the neighbors to chasten Israel for their sins. Sometimes Israel repented, and other times they stiffened their necks. God always persevered even if it meant abandoning a present generation, and waiting for a more submissive generation to come along. The one thing that is true of every nation that was used by God to chasten Israel is that they were in the end destroyed. There are no Egyptians (pyramid builders) anymore (Egyptians today are Arabs), but there are Jews. There are no Philistines anymore, but there are Jews. There are no Assyrians anymore, but there are Jews. There are no Babylonians anymore, but there are Jews. There are no Romans anymore, but there are Jews. It is not a very rosy picture for the Palestinians if the same God of the Bible is using them to chasten Israel today. It is an even worse picture if they just hate the Jew for being a Jew.

GAZA — The Islamic opposition to Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat has threatened to continue a bombing campaign against Israel.
The Iranian-backed Islamic Jihad warned that its "holy war" against Israel will never stop and is meant to create terror in the Jewish state. The Jihad said this would be a Palestinian response to the election of Ariel Sharon as Israel's new prime minister.
"The choice of holy war will never stop," Islamic Jihad leader Abdullah Shami said. "The choice of carrying out explosive attacks in the heart of the enemy will continue, not only within the 1967 lands, but in all of Palestine, from the Nile to the sea and from the north to the south. We confirm that the bombing missions will continue to create a balance of terror. The destruction of the enemy's cities and villages and the killing of settlers is the choice. So, be ready, Sharon."
Forever is a mind set that will never change no matter what. This kind of hatred for Jews can only end one way. It will not be the first time God intervenes to preserve His chosen people. God may chasten the Jews, but He will never allow them no matter how rebellious to be destroyed. It is a Biblical fact of the past as well as affirmed in the more recent history of World War II Nazism. This call to a forever Jihad against the Jews will most certainly be the "Last Jihad" ever enjoined! Islam may be on the brink of eradication by the God of the Bible as surly as Nazism was eradicated in our time. Ezekiel 38 & 39 may be about to find fulfillment soon. It is the heart that will bring such judgment upon Islam. It will be their forever hatred of the Jew that will be their demise. Jesus Christ is coming again. He is coming according to the Bible as the King of the Jews.

exorcist and his helpers began to relax, convinced they had beaten back the
demons attacking Arturo Sanchez who looked on vacantly, too weak to move. Then
suddenly Arturo leapt into the air, his body contorted and eyeballs rolled back,
and the struggle for his soul resumed.
"In the name of Jesus Christ get out, you have no business here!" ordered Pastor Hugo Alvarez. Amid broken phrases of Hebrew he sat astride the writhing 25-year-old salesman who responded with a low-pitched inhuman howl.
I recognize the reality of demons. They are Biblical. The Lord Jesus Christ cast them out many times during His ministry here on earth. I also recognize that there are phony exorcists. The phony rules the day in present Christianity. The Apostate Catholic Church has long exploited phony exorcism with mystical incantations and secret rituals. It gives them credibility, and the power of God in the eyes of the deceived. The Apostate Charismatic Movement caught on to this same deceptive practice early on. Today, the phony exorcists are legion. It is an exercise in futility for me to try turning this tide. I only warn - beware!

Following the US-British air strikes on Iraq's air
defense system Friday night, Baghdad threatened to retaliate, intensifying not
only its anti-US rhetoric, but also its continued campaign to eliminate the
Jewish state.
"The aggression of this night… came to confirm that America was planning and
working hand in hand with the Zionist entity," the Iraqi regime said in its
first statement Friday night in reaction to the bombings. "We will teach the new
American administration and the Zionist entity lessons on Jihad and
steadfastness," it added.
Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein chaired a joint
meeting of the Revolutionary Command Council and Iraq's regional command of
al-Ba'ath Party late Friday. The statement issued after the meeting said the
attack was proof the United States and "the Zionist entity," Iraq's term for
Israel, are "partners in evil and aggression."

Patriots As Iraq Vows Revenge

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi media vowed revenge on Monday against Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for abetting U.S. and British air strikes on Iraq, as Israel and the United States began a Patriot missile exercise that recalled the Gulf War.
About 20,000 Iraqis staged a second day of protest marches in Baghdad organized by the ruling Baath party against the first air raids around the Iraqi capital since 1998.
Demonstrators burned U.S. and Israeli flags and waved portraits of President Saddam Hussein.
The hatred for Israel is clear. No matter what the reason, the blame will always be put on Israel. An Islamic generation has now grown up with the Jews back in the land. This generation has learned nothing but hate from their leadership. They are taught hate for the Jew in their home. They are taught hate for the Jew in their school. They are taught hate for the Jew by their clergy. They are taught hate for the Jew by their government. They've been taught that Jewish plots are behind all their difficulties and suffering. They've been taught that the eradication of Israel is the only solution. This generation has been molded by hate to perform the Last Jihad. How sad that hate overrules everything. How sad that the end of this Last Jihad is prophesied in the Bible as the probable end of Islam.

MUFTI RULES KOTEL BELONGS TO ISLAM ONLY
The Grand
Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, has issued a religious ruling
forbidding Jews from touching the Western Wall.
The "fatwa" or Islamic
edict came in response to reports of Israeli plans to repair some stones in the
Wall that had become loose. The Palestinians have been claiming in recent years
that the Wall belongs to the Temple Mount, which they consider to be all part of
the Al-Aksa mosque. The ruling declared that Jews are forbidden to make any
repairs to the Haram al-Sharif,
which the Wakf and Palestinian leaders now
insist is exclusively and inseparably Muslim.
In an interview with IMRA,
Mufti spokesman Mai Soleb said, "The [Western] Wall is part of the Al Burak
Wall, which is part of the Al Aqsa mosque, so the Jews have no right to the
place... The whole problem is that the place does not relate to them.
So
whatever they do with it - putting in papers, practicing their prayers, all
these things are not things that we want... We believe that this is our
religious property and we will take it back from them one day."
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem has a grand title, but little power to do much. He is just another mouth spewing out hatred against Jews. Here he is proclaiming the most holy place to Jews is not theirs anymore, but by his decree is now Islam's? This is nothing more then throwing the greatest insult imaginable against Israel. It would be comparable to the Grand Mufti declaring every local Christian Church in America no longer ours, but now under the singular ownership of Islam. I'm sure we Christians would be outraged. The Jew has long endured such treatment. When the Western Wall was under Islamic control they used it as a garbage dump. Jews were forbidden to pray there. Such was Islam's respect for the Al-Aksa mosque then. After the six day war when the Western Wall came into Israel's hands, the bulldozers cleared away the refuge, and the Wall was purified and respected. Apparently the Grand Mufti likes the garbage dump approach to the Haram al-Sharif?

Last Friday, the DEBKAfile report –
entitled “The Day the Middle East Stepped Back from the
Brink” – lead out as
follows:
“Very few people
knew how close the Middle East came on Thursday Feb. 22 to exploding in a
regional war. At 6 am, Israel placed its forces on high missile readiness after
being alerted by US intelligence to movements by 6 Iraqi armored divisions
deployed close to frontier with Syria. American satellites additionally picked
up Iraqi preparations for launching long-range surface missiles. DEBKAfile’s
sources disclose the trigger of this sequence: a warning from a European
government, probably Britain, to Iraqi intelligence that Israel would not again
sit still and wait for Iraqi missiles to rain down on its towns as it did in the
1991 Gulf War. It planned to pre-empt any missile attack by knocking out Iraqi
missile concentrations on the ground, as well the 6 armored divisions poised for
advance since early in the Palestinian intifada. This Iraqi strength, Saddam was told,
would be disposed of swiftly with the help of small neutron bombs. Iraqi
decision-makers were impressed enough to test American and Israeli reflexes:
they pushed ahead with technical preparations for the launching of surface
missiles, taking them up to one stage before Saddam’s firing order. Israel
received the information that the missiles would be ready for that last button
to be pushed at 6 pm Thursday evening.”
A few Internet
sites and several e-mail news services and prayer alerts picked up on the story,
which was not widely reported either in the local Israeli press or by foreign
news bureaus in Jerusalem
To begin with,
DEBKAfile is a relatively new media Website that focuses on political, strategic
and intelligence news and analysis in the Middle East. It asserts that their
bureau is run by two experienced journalists, one Israeli and one foreign, who
have close links to top intelligence sources in Israel, Washington and
elsewhere. However, no one associated with DEBKAfile is ever named, and neither
are the sources of information that are exclusive to them. Thus, it makes it
difficult for other journalists to verify reports such as the one that sent
ripples throughout the pro-Israel Internet community over the weekend. For these
reasons, ICEJ NEWS rarely uses DEBKAfile as a source for our reports, without
independent collaboration.
We have found
DEBKAfile to be fairly accurate, but a bit sensational, in its reporting. Much
of the material they report is available elsewhere, but their stories often add
new information based on unnamed and supposedly exclusive sources. After
consulting with several veteran Israeli journalists on political and strategic
affairs, we can confirm that DEBKAfile indeed has “lower level” military and
intelligence contacts, but it would do better to provide names from time to
time. Also, our subscribers should note that local Israeli reporters are
required to first submit such military-related reports to IDF censors, and it is
our impression that DEBKAfile often operates beyond these
rules.
As for Friday’s
report, there appears to be some substance to the version of events given, but
the spin may have been a bit overblown. Steve Rodan, a former top military
reporter for the JERUSALEM POST who now manages the reliable news bureau MIDDLE
EAST NEWSLINE (MENL), told ICEJ NEWS today that there were US and Israeli alerts
issued last Thursday. They were in response to intelligence data that Iraqi
troops indeed had turned on some missile launchers. However, it was quickly
assessed that Baghdad was merely testing US and Israeli intelligence
capabilities to see if they could detect such actions by Iraqi
forces.

today that Saddam is again moving troops nearer to the border with Jordan. US
defense sources said the deployment ordered by Hussein began less than a week
ago and involved thousands of soldiers from up to six divisions as well as
military vehicles and artillery. Iraqi surface-to-surface missile batteries were
not seen but were believed being prepared for operations.
The Iraqi
deployment was a key issue during the visit to Israel by US Secretary of State
Colin Powell over the weekend, according to MENL.
War in the Middle East is closer then most folks realize. The events of last Thursday almost ignited the inevitable. The tensions are high. There is no one who doubts Saddam will some day soon give the orders to push the buttons. Will he fire the mini-nukes some believe he has? Will the Patriot missiles shoot them down before they reach Israel? Will Saddam just use conventional warheads? What other countries will join the six divisions Saddam is sending to destroy Israel? Maybe this Friday will be the day? Maybe next Thursday? Events seem to be ready for the Last Jihad to begin. Events I believe that will open the door to the building of the Third Jewish Temple.
