280. John Davenport⁷ Raymond (Clarissa⁶ Davenport, Deodate⁵, John Iv⁴, John Rev.³, John Jr.², John Rev.¹) was born in Danbury 17 Jul 1809. John died 11 Sep 1881 in Danbury, at 72 years of age.

He married Eliza Prime Raymond 17 Nov 1830. Eliza was born in Norwalk, Connecticut 16 Nov 1812. Eliza died 17 Apr 1893 in Danbury, Connecticut, at 80 years of age.

John Davenport Raymond and Eliza Prime Raymond had the following children:

+ 616 i. William W.⁸ Raymond was born 13 Dec 1832.

+ 617 ii. Henry E. Raymond was born 18 Aug 1834.

618 iii. George Nelson Raymond was born 8 Jun 1837. George died 15 Jan 1903 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, at 65 years of age. His body was interred in Bedford, New York. He married Emily Augusta Sherwood in Somers, New York, 8 Sep 1870. Emily was born in Pound Ridge, New York 2 Aug 1844. Emily died 17 Jan 1926 at 81 years of age.

+ 619 iv. John M. Raymond was born 26 Jul 1839.

+ 620 v. Mary Catherine Raymond was born 8 Oct 1842.

+ 621 vi. Sarah L. Raymond was born 12 Jun 1846.

+ 622 vii. Elizabeth A. Raymond was born 13 Dec 1850.
