She married Ansel Shepardson. Ansel was born 10 Jul 1793. Ansel died 21 Mar 1876 in Fairfax, Vermont, at 82 years of age.

Lu Ray Story and Ansel Shepardson had the following children:

+ 1244 i. Emerson⁹ Shepardson was born 11 May 1820.

+ 1245 ii. Merritt Chase Shepardson was born 29 Mar 1823.

1246 iii. Alva Shepardson was born 19 Jun 1824. Alva died 18 Apr 1825 at less than one year of age.

+ 1247 iv. Aurelia Story Shepardson was born 21 Mar 1826.

+ 1248 v. George Renslow Shepardson was born 10 Oct 1827.

1249 vi. Edward Shepardson was born 13 Apr 1829. Edward died 3 May 1829 at less than one year of age.

+ 1250 vii. Francis Wayland Shepardson was born 26 Feb 1836.
