216. Sarah⁷ Davenport (John Vi⁶, John V⁵, John Iv⁴, John Rev.³, John Jr.², John Rev.¹) was born in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut 5 Mar 1783. Sarah died 17 Feb 1839 at 55 years of age.

She married Johnathan Bates 24 Jun 1804. Johnathan was born Abt 1774. Johnathan died Abt 1856.

Sarah Davenport and Johnathan Bates had the following children:

+ 518 i. John Davenport⁸ Bates was born 19 Jan 1806.

+ 519 ii. Charles Augustus Bates was born 24 Sep 1807.

520 iii. Theodore Bates was born 5 Aug 1809. Theodore died 21 Dec 1856 in Canada, at 47 years of age.

+ 521 iv. Sally Elizabeth Bates was born 1 May 1811.

+ 522 v. Julia Bates was born 11 Jun 1814.

+ 523 vi. Walter Henry Bates was born 26 Oct 1817.

524 vii. Frances Bates was born 27 Aug 1819. Frances died 27 Jul 1820 at less than one year of age.

+ 525 viii. Fanny Bates was born 2 Jun 1822.
