528. James Augustus⁸ Davenport (James⁷, John Vi⁶, John V⁵, John Iv⁴, John Rev.³, John Jr.², John Rev.¹) was born in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut 20 Jul 1818. James died 28 Dec 1855 in Greenpoint, Kings, New York, at 37 years of age.

He married Martha Ann Meeker in Stamford, Fairfield, Connecticut, 4 Nov 1839. Martha was born in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut, Connecticut 8 Jul 1815. Martha died 26 Sep 1902 in 752 Quincy St., Brooklyn, New York, New York, at 87 years of age. Her body was interred 28 Sep 1902 in Woodlawn Cem., Brooklyn, New York.

James Augustus Davenport and Martha Ann Meeker had the following children:

+ 1076 i. Charles Francis⁹ Davenport was born 5 May 1841.

+ 1077 ii. George Ralsey Davenport was born 10 Feb 1843.

1078 iii. Emma Louisa Davenport was born 17 Dec 1846. Emma died 16 Oct 1854 in Greenpoint, New York, at 7 years of age. Her body was interred in Stamford, Connecticut, Usa.

+ 1079 iv. Jane Amanda Davenport was born 13 Sep 1848.

+ 1080 v. Martha Adelaide Davenport was born 4 Mar 1852.
